    Not really. I guess excitement or anticipation at times can be as overwhelming as grief. The butterflies in the stomach when you have a crush, the feeling of waiting for the page to load before the semester marks came out.

    uh…fact that i don’t care about sem marks may be a factor, but i don’t think anticipation et al works that way! 🙂 but yes, i discovered happiness CAN be as overwhelming as pain/grief.
