The Roof Top Film Festival

March 4, 2007

One night. 7 pm to 5 am, camping out on a roof top with loads of other film enthusiasts. An opportunity to meet with and talk to movie buffs just like you, rub shoulders with some of the biggies in filming and see a few of the best films ever made. To have the experience of getting high on life and films with a whole bunch of other people. That’s what the Roof Top Film Festival a.k.a RTFF is all about.

But this is very different from your run-of-the-mill film festival, for this one has no audience. Just participants! You do not come to be a passive spectator. You watch films, interact with a lot of new people, contribute in anyway that you can! πŸ™‚ There’s loads that needs to be done and if you think you can help, check out the RTFF wiki and put in your two cents now!

Roof-Top film Festival (RTFF) is a film fest born out of the desire to provide a platform for people to share, learn and enjoy movies in an open environment. An intense atmosphere will be created where films will be screened and discussions held. The Roof-Top Film Fest will focus on independent films, short films, cult movies and films that changed the way we looked at cinema.

That’s what the wiki reads like!

Where? Sid’s rooftop – 75, Second Street, Karpagam Avenue, R.A.Puram, Chennai – 600028.

When? Starting 24 March, 2007 at 7:00 pm, goes on till 5:00 am, 25 March, 2007

Be There! πŸ˜€

PS: This event is almost free, but you might have to pitch in here and there! Be a part of it and you’re guaranteed a lot of fun! πŸ™‚

Hey sis… good one. Guess even I shouldn’t wait for the logo to be up and just go ahead and blog about it.

About the event being free… I am not sure. If we guys are able to pull of a sponsor then it defi. would be a free event. Else we guys would have to chip in for food…
